healthy organic vegan granola bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup currants
- 6 dried apricots finely chopped
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Method
Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Add all the other ingredients and mix well with your hands until well combined.
Line a 9" x 5" tin with wax paper and spoon the mixture into the tin and using a spoon firmly push the mass down so the bars won't loose shape later when you cut them.
Freeze it for about 30 minutes then cut into 8 equal sized bars before eating.
Store in the refrigerator.
